It’s important to realise that kids are kids and to ensure that plenty of downtime is built into our itinerary. Like most kids, ours love the water and being around other kids. Whilst staying in a big resort has its downside, it also ensures that there are usually lots of other kids and great swimming pools to play in.
Of course, the upside of having kids that are engaged and entertained is it provides a modicum of downtime for us to enjoy ourselves, both with them and on our own.
